Engineered specifically for dirt bikes with lower-output OEM stators, the XL40 draws only 43.5W, making it an ideal high-performance lighting upgrade for riders who previously lacked a compatible premium option.
Paired with the signature XL Trail Lens, the XL40 produces both vertical and horizontal beam patterns with exceptional near-field and peripheral visibility. The Trail Lens redistributes center beam intensity to eliminate harsh hot spots, improving clarity through vertical transitions, elevation changes, and tight corners. The result is a smooth, evenly distributed field of light that boosts rider confidence in the most demanding terrain.
This kit replaces the OEM headlight unit and includes the Motominded mount for precise fitment and easy installation.
Depending on the configuration, the kit may include a Hi/Low harness or a dimmer switch, giving riders flexible brightness control:
- Hi/Low Harness: reduces output to approximately 25% brightness in low-beam mode (1,435 lumens).
- Dimmer Switch: allows fully variable brightness control from 95% down to 20% output, letting riders dial in the exact light level needed for the terrain.
