In the event of a crash or fall, the first part of theRizoma Sport R Axle Slider to hit the ground is the Delrin cap. Delrin is an ideal material for this job as it has awide operating temperature range (-40C to 120C) and is high impact and abrasion resistance. The bell-like shape of the aluminium base offers a wide surface to disperse impact energy which ensures that the slider will hold together. This design also inherently protects the mounting hardware from shearing off in crash or fall.
