• Subaru BRZ: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016

Installation & JDM Swap Notes

To ensure a successful installation into a US-spec vehicle, please note the following:

• Direct Injection Swap: We recommend using your original US-spec DI (Direct Injection) Computer and wiring harness to ensure compatibility with your ECU.

• Exhaust & Intake: Most JDM FA20 units include the intake manifold; however, you should inspect and potentially swap your original Exhaust Manifold (Header) to clear local emissions sensors.

• Maintenance: While the engine is out, it is the best time to replace the Throw-out Bearing (TOB), Clutch/Flywheel, and Rear Main Seal.

• Fluids: Use high-quality 0W-20 Full Synthetic Oil and 75W-90 Gear Oil for the transmission to maintain the FA20’s tight tolerances.
