The BGM PRO adjustment wheel for the compression and rebound damping is the central control element on the BGM PRO Competition shock absorbers. It enables quick, defined adjustment of the damping behaviour – from comfortable road use to tightly tuned racing or mountain passes. At the same time, the colored design adds a visual accent to the suspension.

Function and adjustment range

The hydraulic damping of the BGM PRO Competition shock absorbers is adjusted via the adjustment wheel. Depending on the position, the oil flow in the damper changes, making compression and rebound harder or softer. This allows the suspension to be precisely adapted to the engine power, riding style and track profile.

Design and color variants

In addition to its technical function, the adjustment wheel also plays a visual role. Thanks to the various available colours, the BGM PRO Competition shock absorbers can be colour-coordinated with paint, rims or other details. Subtle tones appear inconspicuous, while bold colours set specific highlights.

Installation and replacement

The adjustment wheel is mounted directly on the corresponding adjuster of the BGM PRO Competition shock absorber. If the shock absorber is already installed, the adjustment element can usually be replaced with a different colour or a new spare part with little effort.

Replacement or installation is recommended when the suspension is unloaded to avoid damage.Depending on the damper position, access is also possible in the installed state, ideal for pure colour conversions.After fitting, deliberately select the damping setting, test-ride, and fine-tune if necessary.
